Went on my first trail ride with new Elixir 7 brakes and I noticed that there was a buzzing sound coming from the levers sometimes, I had Elixir CR Mags on a previous bike and they never did this.
I have been using on the road for a couple of weeks and its only when I got out on Dalby forest red that it started, mainly when on descents or when scrubbing a bit of speed off on singletrack.
I haven't bled them yet as they are supposed to leave the factory bled properly unlike previous Elixirs, anybody had similar experience as I'm not sure if its a problem or just what they do.
Yeah mine do that too sometimes under medium strength braking, but its from the calipers not the lever. No idea what causes it, but its never been a problem 🙂
Glad I'm not imagining it! As long as they are still working O.K thats cool.
