    Hi , i'm mainly XC so feel 100mm fork will do just fine..

    currently looking at a Merlin Malt 4 build or a Cube Ltd Race.

    what do you lot reckon?

    Love my malt 4 with Reba 100mm forks. You could up-spec some parts for that money too.

    1100 doesnt really restrict you much.

    so you could choose a bike from any company really.

    Very happy with my Giant XtC, 1100 will get you a rather swish one i reckon.

    Stick with Merlin. Apart from some sale bikes you will get the most bang* for your buck. Also they have consistent specs, so no downgrading on hidden parts.

    malt 4 is a great looking bike up close. also worth considering the rock lobster tig team?

    Did no one notice I threw and £1800 bike in there, its certainly loads more bike than any other sugestions…. sadly the discount price is £1500 but still a hell of a lot of bike..
