40 minutes ago I was posting in the thread about what got us all into MTBing and mentioned that my best ever present was a Pine Mountain that I got for my 18th and used as an urban commuter.
Obviously this is a story I've related once or twice to my wife, who about two minutes after me typing that post, asked me to fetch something out of the garage and there it was. A brand new Marin Point Reyes!
One of those bizarre coincidences that tells me today is going to be a good day.

Many happy returns silverpigeon. Sorry to hear that your wife bought you a Marin, but choosing the right present for someone can be very difficult sometimes. Maybe be if you're tactful, she won't be offended if you suggest returning it to the shop and exchanging it for a Specialized or something ;0)
