as silly as the question may sound, lots of stuff worn and in need of replacing, so cheaper to just get a 3×10 kit – question is, will it be just the same to setup as standard 3×9 setup?? ie front mechs, rear mech and the likes? or have they drastically changed the setup of it all?

ive only just about got used to setting up 3×9 from scratch so dont want the headache if its massively different in 3×10 with dynasys…

The pull ratios on the shifters/mechs are different on 9 and 10 speed setups.

No real difference in my experience, as easy as 9 and easier than 10 speed road stuff

On a hijack note, I have a 10 speed xt groupset for sale if you’re in the market done about £100 miles looking £250

Check out Actionsports.de, they may not be much more expensive for a brand new one.
