Ok here the the question do you use the 29er that weighs 2lbs more than the 26er and take advantage of the rolling thingy that is a 29er or enjoy draging 2 Lbs less up the hills.

A perfect ST question if there was one apart from what tyers for the coast to coast 😈

    How heavy/tall are you?

Unless you're really skinny, probably the 29er on the understanding that there's a fair bit of draggy climbing.

Oh typo time 78KG so lugging. A bit of extra heft is the way if you got big wheels ok its the 29er then better fix it then.

Rigid 29er or 4-5" lightweight FS??

    That's my dilema

I'd avoid rigid, the MK100 is brutal both in distance and its terrain.
I'd stick a 100mm front end on the 29er as they were very popular last year & it means you can use your hands, shoulders and body that coming week.
    One won last year.
