Basically, will I die? The website says that its has a max rating of 160mm travel but I already run 170mm travel forks with no problem, and have a set of 180mm forks that I’m thinking of fitting for DH days along with beefier wheels. Has anyone else done this with an Orange Alpine? Any issues? The axle to crown is a bit more, about 565mm I think, but I’d get more sag anyway I think so not much would change once its rolling. I don’t weigh a lot (75kgs) so I doubt the frame will have a problem strength wise…

My mate runs 180 Floats from time to time. He’s not dead.

Know a few people who used to put 200 mm dual crown forks on for alps trips, no problems.
