[Closed] 1 x 11 on my Croix de Fer?

Lucky me - Got a spare M8000 chainset and rear mech so want to put it on my cdf. Need to get a cassette and chain, but will my road shifter work with it? If not, is there an 11spd road shifter that will work well with the mtb mech/cassette?

I have a feeling that won't work...
This thread suggest you may get away with a 11sp road shifter with a 10sp dynasys mech, but I didn't read it all:
