Zurich Car Insurance - Avoid like the plague.
7 months after some idiot drove in to the side of my car im still having a nightmare with this company.
Litany of disaster includes:
- Incorrectly recording my notification of an incident as a fault claim after I stated I accepted no liability.
- Due to mistaking recording it as a fault claim they hadnt argued liability of the incident.
Due to this I had my subsequent insurance cancelled as I recorded it as a unsettled claim and on checking it was flagged as me accepting liability.
- Not having people who understand basic English and are unable to understand the details given and therefore not correctly processing the claim.
- Not returning calls.
- Ignoring letters sent.
- Not contacting me with regards to the engineers report regarding the damage to my vehicle and proceeding with repairs greater than the value of my car.
- Not contacting me when I have been assured a call back the same day to forestall any further work to my vehicle and hence now have parts ordered for the vehicle.
and on...
and on...
Avoid - by far the worst insurance experience I have had.
I understand that this one man alone can't hope to warn off all of the poor people that might inadvertently think they are a respectable company and purchase their products but I can but try.
