Calling something 'Dave' instead of acknowledging it as a catastrophic, life changing event makes it easier to ignore.
The reasoning behind the petition is all wrong. Surely the increased prevalence of storms is due to the decrease in pirates?

I want a storm to be called 'SaxonRider' That would be awesome to hear a news report saying "Storm SaxonRider" is sweeping in from the coast and rampaging across the land causing mas devestaion. It sounds like we are being invaded by bare chested, horn helmeted vikings
