I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine

If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance to keep you satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Nowt to do with footy. That is utterly irrelevant right now.

A truly wonderful person has just 'phoned me, and given me some very sound advice.

Which I shall take.

S'a beautiful song, though....

Elvis definately does it best, Petshop Boys make a good go of it too. One of my all time favorite lovesongs. It's a regular tune that I hum when I'm in a happy place, riding somewhere in the sunshine, thinking happy thoughts.
