Think you might have some trouble out running one of these Puerto Rican police bikes...

Some police forces in this country run Honda Blackbirds & Yamaha R1s etc.

Police in this country don't really need superbikes to catch you. I've done some training rides with West Mids Police and even on both my GSX-R1000 and my previous ZX-10R, when the copper decided to go for it, I had trouble sticking with them, and I'm a reasonably tidy rider.

They do have unmarked superbikes though, which we were told in the briefings that they tend to use for undercover work as well as rider 're-education'.

Just think of the screams when they start to scrub out the gravel rash. No anesthetic.

The french police have over 50 Kawasaki ZZR1400s for their "fast interception" officers - derestricted apparently and will do 195mph.

Um, why is the title you can run... surely the point is that you can't run (but you may be able to hide)?

They would probably catch me on a mountain bike to be honest ๐Ÿ˜‰ Seen some 'Busa's kicking about the UK with Rozzers onboard of late. If it helps get the utter coxs off the road (both 2 and 4 wheel variety) then I am all for it!

(I ride a motorbike like a gayer... but I don't care cos life aint a race!)

Go do a Bikesafe day and see what I mean.

Outright power isn't everything, bike handling skills are.
