Mrsfry at the moment its 24 weeks. 21 weeks bring it inline with a good few other countries. At 21 weeks they would be recognised as a baby although they are not going to survive. At the moment the term used is product of conception and potentially disposed of with the normal clinical waste. Very messed up.
I guess the reason for not 20 weeks or earlier is that its a big push as it is. Anything from about 17 weeks could be considered a baby.
We were very lucky with how we were treated.
Thank you for explaining. No ones loss is equal to another persons, i can only say that i do understand the pain and grief you and your wife feels.
Mrsfry we've had 3 losses at very different stages. None better or worse than others just different. All just as hard.
