Randall Munroe is over here from the 30th doing a book signing tour.
I'll be at Blackwell's next Friday buying a copy and getting it signed. One of my favourite cartoonists.

Where did you see this info, a quick google to see tour spots yields no results!

I think it's more aimed at me than Randell.

The newest book is "Thing Explainer", though I think that's been available for a year or two now.

But to be honest he is coming to England. I just didn't mention Scotland.

Go to the link and it is in the box at the top of the page.

I glanced straight over that, the venues are too far away from me.

I looked for "Thing Explainer" back in August but Waterstones and other shops didn't have any copies. I ended up with "We Have No Idea" by Jorge Cham and Daniel Whiteson which on par in my opinion for being informative, containing good humour and being well illustrated.

Ive also previously enjoyed the Ben Miller books "its not rocket science" and "the aliens are coming", anyone got any recommendations for books of a similar nature?

I was thinking cool, I can get my alternative energy revolution print signed. Then I noticed it's signed.
