I take xkcd for granted a lot of the time. Yup I laugh. And I do learn from following the explanations and What If...
But yesterday's Map Age Guide made remember just what a rocket scientist the dude is. Where do these ideas come from?
Total admiration from me.

I really need to catch up on XKCD. I used to follow a bunch of webcomics but got out of the habit, I've probably got about four years' worth of reading to get through.

Maybe that's another thread, "what webcomic?"
