Had to cancel my order of a Metroneer London I mentioned in another thread. DPD seem to have lost it or something.

To be clear Merlin Cycles have been **superb** but the DPD induced delay has given me pause so perhaps it just wasn't meant to be.

Anyway, the Xiaomi Mi, can get a new one for just under £500.

I like:

Legal E bike

Foldable

A name I've heard of!

Removable battery

Nexus 3 speed for the smallish hills I'll encounter on way to my lads house

Range is more than enough

Light, 14.5kg

I'm over it's max rider weight... Meaning I need to lose weight. That's a positive, I need a goal when I'm losing weight.

__________

Not so sure of:

Pot holes in 16" wheels?

I am over it's max weight. I might spanner it!

Any more thoughts peeps?

Thanks as always!

Edit: Sorry, should have been in bike forum.

No idea about the Xiaomi, but sorry to read the news on the Metroneer ebike from Merlin getting lost on its way to you, was wondering how you were getting on the other day.

Yeah, I was looking forward to getting it and it looks like a "proper" bike which appealed. The trouble with the DPD mess up is that it's given me time to consider other options which might go against my sensibilities but actually prove more practical for my usage. I decided that of it hadn't arrived by (yesterday now) that I would cancel the order so that's what I did.

Again, nothing to do with Merlin, this is on DPD.
