Had an epic morning with the kids at Narooma Mtb Park in New South Wales. Morning spent doing Troopy shuttles to the gravity zone. I had a terrible mis-timed gap rim-ding halfway down a run almost plummeted down a gorge to certain death and had to stop to employ the dynaplug and pump. While I was getting things together one of my mates from 1200km away turned up!
He tagged on for a couple of runs. Then we had lunch and did a couple more runs (13km) of the Playground zone. This photo (from a video) shows a 13 year old and a 62 year old being chased down Thunderbirds are go by a 10 year old.
Someone even took a photo of me doing a "look at the camera whilst jumping face.
True. It was a fully zoomed video in the first place.
This is marginally better.
First day off of work and not back until 6th January. Headed over to Llandegla with the boy. Who absolutely rode rings around me. In my defence I've not ridden for a month due to life, and the dark nights and general lack of motivation.
Was great to get out and the weather was very kind to us.
Definitely prefer the blacks to the reds.
Short local gravel loop this morning. They appear to have decided to use water to deter us from riding the cheeky option
