My mates in Air Traffic Control. Based in Prestwick now. Relocated from Manchester. He is very well rewarded for his troubles...

Got a friend who was at Heathrow, went to Dubai for a year then back to Gatwick! High stress levels but hey imagine being told "if you have a headache don't come to work" okay you are responsible for who knows how many people but they get ridiculous amounts of annual leave .... I'd love it!

I've got a stutter, so I doubt I'd be very good at it...

Know someone who was one, he retired in his fourties, loaded

It is a good job and nowhere near as stressful as most people think. You're right about the annual leave. When I was in the UK I used to take a fortnight off every other month.

I thought about it but couldn't afford to do the training. £10 for a year while living away from home just wasn't going to happen.

They say it's not really stressful, more a case of it suiting certain people and not others. Money and holidays were very appealing.

That's an amazing website I've just heard the Belfast flight to Newcastle go past while tracking it!
