Have an Alpkit Skyehigh 600 but its too short (they say it should be good up to 6' 2 ish but I'm 6' and broad).......... they do a longer version but out of stock until the summer
Looking at RAB Ascent 500 and 700 as alternatives (more expensive but I get 20% discount which reduces the difference)
All 3 use 650 fill power down, Alpkit's on euro scale, RAB's of US scale which is apparently a bit less warm. Fill weights are 600 for the Alpkit and RAB's are 500 and 700
so the RAB Ascent 500 will be a bit cooler than the Alpkit (less fill, slighty less warm fill for weight) whilst the 700 will be a bit warmer - maybe too much?
any experience of these? 3 season use from April to October, temp's down to about freezing
thanks
