Yay!!! Wish I was there for this! Great competition, have been going there for 30 years. My folks live in kilmore and my dad does the commentary for the seafari in his down time.

What distance is required to podium? I am much better at skimming stones than riding a bike! 😉

90odd metres is wold record, three bounce minimum.

Easdale is great. You go over the 'Bridge over the Atlantic' to get there. Millions of perfect skimming stones and calm water in the old mine pools. Arm-ache guaranteed and a great place to blow away the cobwebs.

And you can look at the chastity belts in that bloody weird shop hahahaha

Whooop! What a great giggle of a day. The rain came down and I didn't care...
From little kids to those who should know better (including old tosser category in men's and women's).
We left with over 100 men to go, a toss off guaranteed as two had hit the back wall already.
I got 44m, a barely average result, but further than the under 15s category at least...
There were French, Dutch, Swiss, Texans, Kiwis and Canadians. I claim the title of Indian champion (that dual nationality had come in useful after 40 years).

I used to pend my holidays on Easdale. My father inlaw used to own a house there. Wonderful part of the world.

Looking at those results it seems like they need a longer venue.

It is an excuse for a competitive, sudden death toss off though 😉
