I am running a wordpress site - http://www.unsponsored.co.uk I see that Jetpack is now available for wordpress sites not on the wordpress server.

Is it worth downloading? Any other plugins I should consider?

If you want the [url= http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack/ ]features it provides[/url] then probably.

If you don't want the features it provides then probably not.

Any other plugins I should consider?

About 18,000. Perhaps you could narrow down your requirements a little?
