Annoyed that I thought of the correct answer for my second guess, but changed my mind so got it on four
Wordle is getting too easy now after 20 or so goes. Put in a good first word with common letters, follow up by a second good word with different letters and then gee it on 3rd or 4th go.
Really needs a timer on it, say 20 seconds per line, to make it more interesting.

Try pure Wordle for more of a challenge.

Once you have a letter in place, you have to keep it in subsequent words. Once you know a letter features, you have to keep it in the word somewhere.

Nope. Getting in right in 2, 3 or 4 is just down to the luck of your first guess, a time limit on each line would at least make it interesting.
I got it in three today because my second guess was very good but first guess wasn't good.
What would make a difference is only having 20 seconds to work out what word(s) could fit that third line

Still easy as that is sort of what I did at the start. Guess I have just run my time with it as I never take more than a minute in total time for any day.

I don't like nerdle as much as wordle, it is really just a game of elimination rather than a maths problem.
A daily countdown style number game would be much better, the thing to take from wordle is just having 1 puzzle a day, on a simple webpage, and come up with a good sharing mechanism (maybe a success rate, with the time taken that day and the average time taken.
