Hi,

I'm supposed to be driving over to Manchester tomorrow to visit some people - is the Woodhead Pass open? (or should I be shot for even contemplating it?)

Has there been much snow over Manchester way?

ta.

this says its open with no delays. you can check the motorway matrix signs as well. If Woodhead (A628) is closed it will be all over M1 matrix signs around J35/J36/J37

I drove over there about 3pm today. Clear roads and medium traffic.
Might snow tonight, but there was only a dusting on the hills there today.

All clear pretty much up here at the moment, a bit of snow left on the hillsides, still quite mild tonight as well. I can see the lights of Manchester so pretty clear skies at the mo also.
