Evening all , considering getting a wood/log burner fitted in our cottage , no chimney so would need twin wall flue running outside , is it ok to install according to regs then get a HETAS installer to check and sign off the install ? Not sure on costs ?

Just get building control to sign it.
HETAS is just a one day self-cert course anyway.

HETAS can’t inspect, they can only certify their own work (or work supervised by them) if I recall.
