Mrs iDave, who was a non-cyclist, went out unsupervised on Friday and as a result bought a road bike complete with Look pedals, Mavic shoes/helmet etc
My concern is that she may want to discuss tyres and gear ratios.

Ironically enough my first answer to irrationality in a lady is to ensure her carbohydrate intake is increased immediately. That was my answer before looking at the thread content and who posted it...
Hope the shop advised her well.
