Any one have any advice? We've got a couple of macs (MBP and iMac) hooked up to a time capsule. Any advice on good printers? Very occasional use, the scanner will probably see more action than the printer actually.

Canon mp640. Well reviewed in macworld or Mac Format IIRC. I've had one for about a year and have no complaints. Set up isn't as hard as the reviews make out either.

I've got a HP C4350. Works well wirelessly, both printing and scanning are quick and easy. The problem is the horrendous price of official ink cartridges.

Setup is totally simple on Snow Leopard but a pain in the arse on Leopard. (SL has the drivers built in, Leopard doesn't - and HP's installer app is vile)

If you have a time capsule, plug te printer into that - best bet as the TC software will share it to all the macs really well.

(as I also have MovileMe, I can even print to my TC AT&T he'd printer over the Internet, which is surprisingly handy)

Cheers guys. I was looking at an Epson but got scared away so the cartridges don't contain print heads. I know this is cheaper but it increases the chances of having to junk the machine. Like the sound of the HP printing from an email address.
