I switched from Bosch to Heyner last time, mostly just for a change (Heyner cost about the same and got good reviews on Amazon). Personally I'll be buying Bosch again next time as the Heyner ones stutter and streak more. Fitting was simple enough and they don't squeak though so not all bad.

Bosch every time, I've tried cheaper but they don't last.

must say im a bosch user.

But like you bruneep ive been tempted to stray given that the bosch wipers for the new motor are the guts of 40 quid for the flat twin aeros i need.

ill probably still buy bosch as the off brands that are on it are shit.

I fitted a set of Halfords own ‘flat blade’ wipers, having got fed up with the traditional type of blades needing replacing every year. They’re showing signs of wearing out now, getting streaky, but they must be seven or eight years old now. I might try Wilco ones, if they do that style, or just get another Halfords set, they cost £15, IIRC.

Bosch good, but I’ve heard very, very good things about the PIAA silicone ones. Ker££ing though.

I've bought Bosch every time but once. That was the first time I bought wiper blades, and I got the cheap ones which were enchanted with the spirit of an asthmatic donkey, shortly before I replaced them with Bosch.

Bosch twin aero

Tried Halfords but it only lasted about 2 years so now I have Bosch but will see how they perform.

Was thinking of those silicon ones but too expensive for my car. 😀

PIAA si-tech if you can get them?

Ive found they outlast the bosch alternative.

I went through bosches at a ridiculous rate on the mondeo but tbh I never worked out why or if it was car specific. Wasn't delighted overall but when they worked, they worked

I've got some Valeo ones on one car that are still good after 5 years! Came from Halford too.

The only thing that seems to wear mine is when I use them with ice still on the windscreen, even then I still got 3 years out of my last Bosch's. What are you doing to them that they only last a year?!

Windscreen worn Northwind ?

My old Peugeot used to eat wiper blades . Stuck a new screen on and all issues went away.
