You get the feeling that the french will have a real period of pressure soon. Wtf have Italy just taken their OH off!!!

Italy really need to start listening to the ref too.

Not being helped by their decision making. Did they think Owens was just going to let them stand around all day?

Brilliant fun and result. Good reffing IMO but glad those calls didn't hand it to France. Awesome weekend of rugby!

Previous question answered. Scotland at home, better than Italy away!!!

Yesterday I was saying a welsh grand slam and if not, an England championship due to beating france and putting 100 points past Italy, but loosing to Wales as England always find a way to mess up - one grand slam in 18 years. What do I know!

(I embarrassed to say that after brilliant rugby matches I also enjoyed the Man City v Liverpool match this afternoon. 😉 ) should I feel slightly debased/ dirty? 😉

Careful what you wish for Tom because, as i daid last week, if england come to cardiff looking for a grand slam and wales looking to avoid a wooden spoon it'll be a hell of a game.

I tell you what, if that turns out to be the case and it is the game that it should be. Then I wouldn't be totally upset at england losing a slam.
An amazing game in that situation would be awesome

Flippin heck, if our choices for lions 8 is faletau or Morgan; we're in trouble.

Good job that every single home nation has at least one quality no8 at the moment, then?

wrecker - Member

Faletau is a plodder. Consistent, does everything quite well without doing anything brilliantly. Morgan is the opposite, flaky even but he can change a game when in the mood.

Astonishing! Such rubbish I'm wondering why I'm bothering to type!

The ref got that one wrong, not SOB.

the ref got a lot wrong at the breakdown hence all the shoeing going on, it was just a shame it took Wales till halftime to get the memo.

When will the refs stop Irish teams 'accidentally' falling on the wrong side of the ruck. Sexton did it 3 times at least. He would have been carded if he'd been anything other than Irish.

12 trees and Manu for England. Barritt is useless.

+1

If your idea of a great game is one where the French forget to turn up, then you are right.

Oh so one eyed! What makes England and Ireland so safe?

Stop arguing and read this.

Cette défaite, la deuxième de suite à Rome pour l’équipe de France, signale l’avènement d’une grand nation de rugby, l’Italie

[Trans] This defeat, the second in a row in Rome for the French team, signals the arrival of a great nation of rugby, Italy [/trans]

Magnanimous in defeat, and rightly in praise of les Azzuri. Superb display by them today. Superb. Orquera was wonderful, I think he got MOM, or at least I hope he did.
