Looks to be a beautiful day tho. Be a tad nippy first off. Might stick the thermal legs on finally for work. Tonight's ride will definitely require something round the neck/ears as it says -1 for 6pm...

Yeah it does matter. Quiet a difference in the weather between Wick and Truro. Plus I'm grumpy this morning as it's not snowing here (Sheffield)

someones a grumpy gus this morning,

meteorological winter is usually considered to start in december in the north.

you'll be thinking of autumn. which meteorologists reckon is september october and november.

so really our climate isnt all that messed up - its just folks heads that are messed up with rose tinted specs.

Loving those express headlines, they've done another one for yesterday as well.

I think the daily mash sums it up well....

Aye true it's still Autumn I suppose but it's November so a bit of frost and snow isn't a shock.

The seasons bit is fairly obvious really, if summer is June July and August, and there are 4 seasons, the rest all kind of fall into place!

Snowing on cannock chase this morning, didn't stick though. When I was a nipper I remember snow around bonfire night being fairly normal. And a couple of years ago it was snowing in October.

Late winter this year, definitely.

Its snowed here too on the tops. Don't panic though!! I've bought a new wooly hat for my big baldy bonce. Its a really nice one, Its lime green, with a big bobble on top.

So thats winter taken care of. If you've got no hair, I'd recommend doing the same. It doesn't necessarily have to have a bobble. Or be lime green. Not everyone can be as effortlessly stylish as me, obviously

Does that help?
