Hurrah! Always a good turning point, especially for the SAD sufferers. More should be made of it and when the sun is over the yardarm so early it would be rude not to. What you doing?

Here's wishing everyone a happy solstice, despite the prevailing conditions!
I was going to race the sun rise/sun set by doing a Downs Link double (not terribly challenging but good enough for an excuse to do something pleasant) in the 7 hours and 50 minutes available. However, I'm recovering from an operation instead, so daydreams will have to suffice.
