My PC is on its arse, Im going to format it and install XP pro.
My mate told me about something called windows xp lite, apparently it strips alot of unnecessary bits and pieces out of XP making it run quicker.
How does this work? Where do I get it from? And how do I install it? Also, is it any good?
Ta
I think he means nlite, with this you can create a slipstreamed copy of XP including all Service packs and updates, drivers etc and also remove all the rubbish you never use.

The install is much more compact and takes up less space and runs quicker, I would definitely recommend it.
Go for Ubuntu, you won't look back, honestly!
Begone Linux geek, I cat you to /dev/null
it's a cut down version of XP faster.. narrr... real world test (on our kit) shows 5 second load time differences..
Cheers, I'll check it out when Im back from work
@Vern he could mean XP embedded.
