Afternoon all. Having spent time in the new house it is time to start spending money and the missus has her sights set on French windows/bifolds.
So does anyone have any recommendations for a localish company that'll do a good job, for a fair price, when they say they will?
Or am I in moon on a stick territory?
Any ideas gratefully received.

Just using Haus in Warrington for two sets of bifolds and a front door.
Price seems OK and they turned up when stated.
Lowndes Glass or Alexander Windows in Stockport.
If I remember correctly from previous threads, the standard suggestion for anyone with windows problems is to get rid of them and wear a mac instead.
Heritage trade frames
About to place an order with clearview door in Huddersfield for some bifolds. A friend who does up houses for a living uses them and rates them.
Thanks guys (particularly Cougar, I'll make sure I'm wearing a mac when I order them), good stuff to follow up on, Timperley is very close to me. Hate getting work done on houses, always an element of lottery...
