[Closed] Windows Anytime Upgrade rip off
I've got Windows 7 Home Premium and have been looking at using Anytime Upgrade to upgrade to Professional. Why am I expected to pay £120 from the UK Microsoft Store when the US one is charging $89.95 (£57.81), less than half the price!
The US store requires a US billing address and won't accept my UK one so is this just another case of UK residents getting ripped off?
Bundlebox is your friend.
Thanks but there's a download option too, you just have to pay twice the price if you're in the UK.
What reason do you want professional for, only difference is the networking options. Unless you want to run a domain network then I can't see the need?

+ XP Mode ?

I just installed for my son (secondary school).
Took a while for it to be posted, but it is a genuine copy of windows.
I probably don't need Pro. at present although the Domain Join functions might be handy when we get our server sorted professionally at work. The virtualisation stuff might be fun too.
I guess that I'm just a bit miffed at being expected to pay double for a download because I'm in the UK.
'cos stuff costs different prices in different countries 😯
Try this
there are many similar ones as well and they do work, i upgraded my net book sometime ago and it still working fine.
