Ok so been using netflix with windows 8 for ages and plugging the laptop into my panny plasma via hdmi, all good. Updated to windows 8.1 tonight and the audio won't come out of the tv only the laptop....??? Anyone know what's going on? Typical if it ain't broke better fix it rubbish tech....

I suspect the graphics/audio driver has dropped the audio stream from the HDMI signal.
Check the settings are set to push audio via HDMI and check the driver is the latest version from the manufacturer.
