I use the standard windows 7 mouse pointer but seemingly at random my mouse pointer changes to this:

It still works like a normal pointer and stays like that until I shake it around the screen for a bit and then it returns to normal...any ideas?
I've got the latest drivers for my mouse etc...
Sometimes it goes really crazy and gets those little lines down both sides, it even glows from time to time!
Have you got a millipede inside your monitor ?
is it related to the minimize thing? you can pick up one window and shake it and all the other windows will minimize, bet apple wish they'd thought of that, that's a proper leap forward in UI technology rather than just swapping the buttons round.
heh heh, just tried that - mint!
No i shouldn't think so...I have that disabled as I turned off most of the aero stuff so don't have that function anymore
