I'm sure this used to work in Windows 7, but the screen saver only seems to work on one monitor - unless I'm missing something very obvious which is entirely possible...!

DisplayFusion does this -  https://www.displayfusion.com/Features/ScreenSavers/

Think it's a pro feature but it's worth paying for IMO.

Yeh just set your power settings up properly, 10 mins of no activity, turn screen off, put pc to sleep after 20 mins of no activity.

If you want to have pretty images on your screens then that's one thing.  But there are no screens requiring "saving" in 2018 unless you've got your computer hooked up to a plasma TV.

They’re called lock screens now, but it must be possible as I have the same image on both screens when locked. The log-in screen is only on default display though.

Cheers all, one of the screens is a plasma and suffers quite badly from image retention.  Power saving mode might work, will take a look.

Thanks Simon, will look at your suggestion.

I'd recommend using power saving mode on a short timer, it's not really an inconvenience anymore. Unsure about plasma but if an LCD screen takes a long time to wake up it's probably on its way out.

Yeah, After Dark!

Not sure if I had in on Win 3.1. 95 almost certainly. Would be been "acquired" from somewhere.

The route of many viruses in later years, screensavers from dodgy sources. Kept having to clean parents PC after junk got installed from screensavers.

Bloody hell, I'd forgotten about after dark.

Blast from the past.

I also remember my dad installing Norton desktop on our win 3.11 (yes, for workgroups oooooh!)
