I video my own videos. Saves having to rewind the tape.

boy can't put a foot wrong. not shrugging off his medals, clearly very pleased and proud. but equally grounded and respectful of 'normal' people.

LEGEND.

Wiggo...what a nice guy, makes you proud to be British!

Cav was a bit uncomfortable on the track (tv) yesterday, a great rider but not a natural commentator, but not as bad as some of the other commentators! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Has anyone read Wiggins book?

He was quoting so it doesn't count (apart from the "arsehole" bit)

can't help but think he's hoping that his life won't change rather than stating that it won't.

I think I'm getting a bit of a man crush on Wiggo!

yeah, I want to be his friend a little too much

Does this make him an honourary member of the Sweary Northerners?

If he wasn't about to become Sir Wiggo as a result of his results, then I can only hope that the Queen watched that and sits there nodding, and making it so as a result of that speech...

Totally grounded bloke. We need more like him.

Sadly, I predict he will become fodder for misquoting hacks. They will provoke him.

His earnest manner is laudable, but he is in danger of becoming Cantona..

Hoping someone is guiding or protecting him a little. He plays it cool, but must all be new in many ways..

If he swears often enough then he might get of the celebrity merry-go-round he so despises! Brilliant tactics.

well done for squeezing in 'arsehole' too!

if theres a sweep going on in the olympic village for the most swears in a tv interview, wiggo must be in gold medal spot! ๐Ÿ˜€

he said "Jock".... surely the STW heroes should be up in arms about this... not applauding him!

he comes across as a top bloke. (if a little rascist).

Wouldn't you be worried he'd snap?

Great to see a normal bloke talking straight to a twisted media obsessed world.

The 'Jock' Hoy has form with arseholes as well.

"Chris Hoy thinks that the day Chris Hoy refers to Chris Hoy in the third person is the day Chris Hoy disappears up his own arse."

Good on you Mr Wiggins, nice to see a sportman with a good view of what reality is and how luck they are to do what they do and to put it all into perspective.

"****##g inspirational"

I like his honest opinions.

Watching him win the TDF and win the TT has really motivated me to get out on the bike and haul on the running gear again.

From a proud "Jock".

So not much chance of seeing him on Dancing on Ice or Celeb Big Brother then? :p I'd donate to a fund to see him on the latter giving the others a dose of reality...

Could be a 'homage' ๐Ÿ™‚

... Although I suspect watch manufacturers would be queueing up to get their product on his wrist.

Yes, he's class but he may lose his 'sir' and 'SPOTY 2012' if he carries on, doubt he cares though!
