Short of it -

Virgin installed on friday, everything working great, TV, wifi to my phone and laptop is grand, but mrs nobeers phone keeps dropping signal. We both have the same phone on the same network, S8's on Vodafone, anything to try before I disappear down a customer service time and space continuum?...

Thanks!

Dodgy antenna/chip/software on the phone itself? Does she have any problem with the phone on other wifi?

We had Virgin installed a month ago.

My iPhone fine, Mrs’s iPhone kept dropping out.

Reason?

Simple.

My wife is still running a version of IOS from the days when Steve was running around in cheesecloth shirts singing Sweet Baby James by James Taylor 🤷‍♂️

And she never turns off her bloody phone 🤷‍♂️

Fix? Upgrade to latest IOS and turn off her bloody phone.

Its been fine since week before last....

Same here with my Mrs phone. Worked fine once she did the 18months of updates she had been ignoring.

Then she moans but there is no point doing an update as there is always another one after it...

Since we moved to sse. My blue tooth pisses off their router and it keeps dropping out. Soon as I turn off Bluetooth it's stable as you like.
Had to change router chanel

Try turning offblue tooth see if it improves ..... Than change. Router Chanel

We got a v3 virgin router recently and my daughters iPhone kept dropping wi-fi - she's updated iOS and the problem's gone.

I've got this issue with my phone - it only has 2.4G Wifi. With Bluetooth off, the Wifi connection is fine.

With Bluetooth on, Wifi via my TP-Link router is rubbish. I have a TP-Link range extender, and if I connect to this, it's fine. Same channel, etc. It's just "extending" the Wifi from the main router.

I have no idea why this is!
