Just had a spam call to my x-directory land line, 1471 reports its from 0024569. Anyone know anything about it?
Only reason I ask, is the line has only been live for a few days and no one should have the number. Then I bought a new handset, a really really cheap, market stall handset, that when you listen closely it sounds like a modem connecting in the background. Off to get my tin-foil hat.

non-UK, so they stick 2 fingers up at OFCOM rules.
it'll be an autodialler that dials every number.
if it's not PPI, it'll be M$ technical support to clean that virus that they've detected on your PC.
