...does no-one make a car with a proper bin in it. I don't mean a tiny ashtray, I mean an actual bin. Could be behind the centre console down low, with a reasonable sized opening below the stereo. When it's full, pull it out and empty it.

Why has no-one done this?

Why would you want to keep your rubbish in your car ?

.

I sling mine out of the window.

Are you ready???

You have two options:

1) Use the passenger footwell like a normal person. Just keep throwing stuff there until it falls out when you open the door, then just sweep into a bin bag and deposit at your local tip. Or...

2) Obtain a carrier bag, disposable from a supermarket (I use Tesco myself, Waitrose if I have guests in the car) and attach it, via a single handle, the lock of the glove compartment, letting it hang down into the footwell. Voila! A handy car rubbish sack.

I thought that's what the front passenger footwell was for.

in my car, the 'bin' is 'anywhere i'm not sitting'

over time, it gets so full of crap, that friends who've accepted a lift will volunteer to empty it.

et voila, i have a self emptying car-bin the size of my car.

awesome.
