MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I've turned them off but I'm still getting the CRC ad.
You can't turn them ALL off. The one I find ironic is that one urging me to become a Premier subscriber.
I think it develops from HI....
Oh right, sorry 'ads' - not sure.
You can't turn them ALL off.
Premier membership just sells itself... 😐
Was thinking that too. That CRC one that stays for premier users now seems to be new.
Prem membership used to be advertised as removing ads - can't find that bit now.
I don't see the CRC one. In fact the only ads I see on this page are the STW Tee n Tenner and the Facebook social plug-in.
I've turned them off
how....?

careful......
I only bought premier to get rid of the ads. I've still got the ads. I might ask for my money back 😥

There is an option to "Show All" or "Decrease" ads (not "eliminate all")
Jimmy along the top click on Premier then the hide adverts button.

It was advertised as less ads, never none.
how....?
Go to your profile, click on the Premier Account tab, and click reduce adverts.
Gets rid of all but 2, and they're in pretty reasonable locations on the screen.
😀
Drac. On the forum overview, I can see two ads - both of which are things that, as a premier subscriber, I don't need.
I find the ads are the only thing here that speaks sense and doesn't start arguments, I just do as they say and buy what they tell me to
Sorry you're disappointed by that but the package includes far more than just less ads.

Good ADS or the Bad ADS? Cat ADS?
careful....
I'm not blocking anything or advocating doing so.
I get less ads on Premier anyway.
If the CRC one is supposed to be viewable to Premier users then I guess it is Flash based cos I don't see it on my iPad.
Don't forget the much higher standard of modding funded by the spike in premier sign-ups since hammer-gate.
Have to say - that's quite a smart idea: make money from subscriptions on premise of reduced ad's and then sell the premise of less ad' clutter to select advertisers who in turn pay more, thus making up some of the shortfall of less advertisers while earning from subscriptions.
Thats not what happens unfortunately.
Thats not what happens unfortunately.
Why not? Seems a great idea.
Mark - the Tee n a Tenner one is rubbing salt in the wounds of your current subscribers 🙂
If you don't like the mighty Facebook tracking your every move (see a 'Like' icon, or anything Facebook related? They've tracked you!), then the Chrome/Firefox "Facebook Disconnect" is very useful.
Pook, it's a vendetta. Chipps is punishing you for the trying too hard thread.
Thats not what happens unfortunately.
That they don't pay more? They should!
I've only ever been warned once. That was for a super long title.
and the trying too hard thread was just bemoaning a lack of a mention for the forum rides.
I just noticed the ads for the first time in ages yesterday. Did my nut in. 'Reduced ads' implies they could delete just one ad space for subscribers and meet their end of the deal.
