Who to use for waterproof clothing alterations?

I have one of these:

which I like but the flappy gusset behind the zip impedes venting and gets in the way of the zip.  Ideally I'd like it removing, which I think is straight forward.  Has anyone here used a company they'd recommend for waterproof clothing alterations?

@Matt  Nope, UK but they don't seem to sell it anymore.
