Mine is now over 800 and thus is such a pain to get rid of that its just going to stay. Poor old mattoutandabout having started the EU thread must be the most!

Also how many emails in your inbox? I have 2000 - again its got to the point its too much effort to get rid of the rubbish and I cannot just delete the lot as there is stuff in there I need

So who like me is lazy in keeping their notifications on here cleaned up and who like me is to lazy / disorganised to keep their email at home cleaned up?

Emails? Thousands as I keep them as it’s amazing how banned members forget the abuse they send when warned or banned then try to get back.

Feel a bit of a Luddite! The format isn't very intuitive. I thought by hitting "Read", it would take you to the response in the thread, but you seem to end up going around in a loop! I don't really get it? If you click on a message, it just takes you to the front of the forum page. It all seems pretty useless to me! Are there any instructions...

Simply never going to bother cleaning them all out. Much better things to do. (That's a lie.)

245.

But I've attached a postit-note to my screen at the place where it is displayed, so I can't actually see it.

I lose a bit of screen real-estate, but it's worth it.

Go to the notification page, tick the box at the top left scroll down to the bottom - bulk actions - choose delete then apply .

I'm a ludite and can still manage to clear mine in a few seconds .

That only clears 25 at a time unless its been changed so would need that repeating 33 times as I am now up to 825

12, I started a thread for the first time in a very long time last night. It won't run, I've realised things I find interesting that haven't already got a thread after a day in the news don't interest many others.

And Weeksy isn't wrong, it's just taking up space on a server.

members forget the abuse they send when warned or banned

Some of the warning and banning messages used to be pretty abusive, I have a couple of gems in the archives. All very civil recently though. However, if ever I meet that bloke with his four cans ale... . 😉

Emails?

I use Gmail. Things that need attention get left until done. Everything else is either deleted or archived. The search is so powerful there's no need to sort things into folders/whatever. Currently 12 items in my Inbox.

Nah. I used to have lots of folders. Now I don't bother and just hit the archive button on anything I need to keep.
