Half the shots didn't come out as there was so much lightning behind the clouds it just looked like daytime 🙂

Yeah watched it for an hour. Got a good shot of the sheet lightening making the sky look light daytime but black silhouette of houses and trees show it's night.

I remember having loads of storms when i was a kid but not so much now? Or is that just false memory

Thankfully nothing has come of the warning for Southampton area, would have made work an absolute nightmare, given I spend 3+ hours outdoors each shift.

Nope. Was promised an apocalyptic all day/night thunderstorm extravaganza but got bugger all, bit of drizzle. I've been robbed!

I've not seen any decent lightening in years.
