Not me.
meh, my wife parks the car badly at work..... ๐
Nor me. Which is nice.
The car drove past me here so I expect to be on it when they update it to further out of the cities. That was only a few weeks ago mind, the stuff that's just gone up (that I've looked at anyway) was taken last summer
And the kids were playing at school.... 8)
That is ****ing unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody hell, how the ****ity **** do they do that?
Speshul vayn or something, with cams doing 360ยบ pics?
Ha ha! I can 'drive' down my street!
That is unreal! Well done for showing us this!
(Gets a bit too excited, has to have a lie down)
Our road is not on google maps (new build) but the streetview goes right down there up to the point where it stops on the map. You can see down the street, but you can't click any further. Bummer!
i must have been away - our car's not there and the curtains are closed ๐

This was taken last September just outside of Nottingham, saw the car a few times, but none of that data has been made live yet.

Well I never. Just showed it to my mate, and he sez the link the OP posted is right near his old uni digs!!
Thank you. My life is now complete.
My Dad had a house here in the late 60s - would be worth a few quid now...
footflaps - dont post yer house now, post an old one.
Look! There's old Johnny Boy from next door, going down the shops!
Mudshark, nice part of town.... 8)
Hmmm...it's all my Mum's fault; wanted to live in Surrey so my Dad sold it; marked the end of the family's upper class pretentions really.
OMG What's my wifes' car doing round at my mates house?
She's having a look through some carpet samples he's got hold of.
Nowt to worry about, stop being paranoid, ffs.
And have more faith in your wife.

Shag?
Maybe, but possibly, she might prefer a nice Axminster.
Or Wilton.
I had a lovely shag in Wilton once. But that's another story.

What an absolutely fantastic tool for the terrorist, no need to 'case' your target, you can do it all online... hang on, just heard a knock at the door....
Not me but I can tell that it was taken on a Thursday (recycling's out for collection!)
I've been done, and I know that it will have been done about November time
My uni digs from 10yrs ago, somebody's left a wrecked van right where we had the BBQ!
Can someone explain please how this might aid a terrorist or criminal? It just shows a snapshot of a street, when real information can be had by just walking or driving down any given street or road. I just don't understand that sort of paranoia. It doesn't tell you, for example, when people are at work and a house is empty, so how could a criminal use the info?
Great fun to use, can't wait for the Area 51 pics to show up...
aaah, I've seen one of those cars about when I've been out on a ride. We're not on google yet though.
matt, you lived over the road from me! When did you move?
I was the one on;
crutches
silver DMR
Red Dmr
great big cruiser
yellow cannondale road bike
lived in number 47 BTR
I just "walked" down to university fom my house ๐
I'ts so nostalgic i nearly cried :'(
Erm..........great. But what is the point of it?

Indeed ๐
Just checked my gaff. I can see myself sat at the office desk doing a hard days work (or not as the case may be).
Didn't notice the car driving up the street, but it was taken on a Thursday morning. The bin men had been and Mr bin washer had been round already. So pre 10:00. It must have been September time last year as the house opposite was still up for sale and the one a few doors down had not gone on the market yet. Brilliant tool.
Yep, rack isn't bad, those Nether Edge girlies are something to be desired eh sq225917?? Muha. Muhahha. Muuhahahhahhaha. I'm off to do some stalking.
thisisnotaspoon - Membermatt, you lived over the road from me! When did you move?
in 2002 - to the wrong side of the tracks....S2, baby.
we didn't move in untill Summer 2006, brought the neibourhood down a few notches, plenty of bonfires/BBQ's with wood form the skips, usualy followed by amature pyrotechnics involving aerosols and lengths of metal pipe ๐
Ahh, well we were at it before you...as were many many students - we had all the new garden plants stolen one night and left piled up on the high street outside the chippy... ๐ ๐
There was an article about all this on the Beeb news recently, with the focus being on Camera Place, and one of my fave pubs in That There London, the Sporting Page.
Got to love a pub where the umbrellas outside aren't sponsored by John SMiths or Carling but by Bollinger!
wonder if anyone has found the erm "WRONG" car parked on there drive while they were at work and the Mrs was at home.....
great way to case out a joint
cuckoo, how exactly?
if i was a criminal all it would show me is that
-99% of houses have net curtains,
-at some point last summer the owners may or may not have been at home
what usefull information can your average criminal mastermind extrapolate form that?
I live too far out in the middle of nowhere for google to care about me.
Even TomTom gets lost on the way to my house.
and now i know where some of you live, i know you have nice bikes, good job im not a bike thief................
My gaff some time since last July as the FS sign's up.
And I think I was on this bus
Have you all seen the various car crashes, house fires, assorted weird goings on on streetview? Including the results of one of the camera cars hitting a deer?
links...
already wasting too much time. tho.
sq225917's missus wins!
Nice rack
On that camper vayn? My VW owning mates hate them. Useful though, I'd say.
Stopped at Leeds Ring Road so not got to me yet. But I've had a lovely morning wandering about Paris, Rome and Barcelona...
Skanky old student house, bike shed with 1/2 ton of concrete still in residence:
WCA's cars are on there. Merc in the street, Honda in the drive!

๐ฅ - they did where I went to Uni (which is the only place I've lived for more than a few weeks they have), but can't actually see either of the places I lived from where they went - not even a single picture of my college that I can find!
Holy cow!
The direction of travel of the bloke knocking the old dear off would suggest he's come out of the one way street the wrong way. And she's not wearing a helmet.
Aaaaaggghhhh - it's a STW moral minefield!!!
๐
Just looked up my Mum's address and can see my car parked outside!
I've seen the Google Maps car a few times, only a couple of days ago on the other side of the M74 and once as I was coming back from Gatwick airport.
Unfortunately for me, the Google Astra decided to run past my house when next door were selling a Shocking Pink chavved-up Corsa last summer...I hope no-one thinks it's mine :-S

Maybe it is not the wisest thread? I live here and I have a really nice bike. You can view entry and exit routes to my house before you arrive so all you have to do is come in and grab the bike?
You want to tell people what time you are at work as well? do you commute on your bike or do they have to wait until it is night time?
Do admit it is a cool thing, just maybe not so cool showing each others addresses?

If your stupid enough to put where you live now on here then you deserve it! Its not the threads fault, nobody is making you! ๐
you can see my old silver Seat at the end!!!!
not saying its the fault of the thread, merely pointing out that some undesirables may be reading this as well
Point taken but if anyone ever broke into my place and nabbed my bikes it'd be because they either saw me ride to or from there, or saw my bike rack on the car outside, rather than wading through some of the rubbish posted on here lol ๐
However...
Note to any potential burglars reading this - everything is well and truly locked and alarmed at my place so don't even bother, I would definately hear and would be on your @ss with some Bombers before you'd even realise!!!...besides you're much better off going next door as they obviously have chav-bling which you're much more likely to sell on for a tidy profit :-p

Indeed - why I posted my address of 5 years ago...moved twice since then...
