Just brought my 8 & 6 year old a Wii for Xmas which comes with Sports Resort and Mario kart.
What games does everybody recommend for mainly adults, got my eye on House of the Dead and Call of Duty
I enjoyed Resident evil. Quite atmospheric and a reasonable story line once you got into it.
Clearly you need to get all the Lego games though.
Resident Evil 4. Lush & totally absorbing.
House of the Dead: Overkill is fun, but full of bugs. I think I preferred Umbrella Chronicles.
I have not long ago bought a Wii - Call of Duty World at War is good once you get used to the Wii controls.
Cursed Mountain looks good, as does Colin McRae:Dirt, the new Lego Indiana Jones thing and quite a few others!!

Super Mario Galaxy (i know it's a kid's game, but it is a work of art!).
House of the Dead is supposed to be good, as is Dead Space: Extraction.
Quantum of Solace is pretty crap for the solo game but really good online.
Mariokart is excellent both online and as the main game itself
House of the Dead: overkill.
Get a few mates, a few drinks and listen the superb quality of the in game chat!

it is supposed to be OK but I've not played it. Cheaper on amazon though.

I didn't rate call of duty (world at war) on the Wii - I found the controls too annoying
