Just finished a simple web site for my mate's band and I'm about to try and get it hosted but don't want to waste money considering the site is pretty much static with only the odd update to their gig list. It only has five pages with a small number of photos and graphics.
Can anyone recommend something?

Google sites is free and does a fair job.

Freeola, its free.
upload by phone though but its only 1p / minute.
