Who the **** decided it was a good idea to march like that? Madder than a box of frogs.

And while we're at it, 'We're going to torpedo your ship and if you do anything about it we're at war'............ they really are mad.

Zee germans I suspect? Did they invent the 'goose step' style of marching?

I lived in Texas for a year and lordy lordy they are quite mad, most of them dont even see themselves as American. People in California are wired up a bit differently. Russians are all a bit unhinged and not in a good way.

Singapore was like being on a another planet.

Another vote for China - Oh my, what an absolute mental hell hole.

Spent a month mostly in Xinjiang where the population is mostly muslim Uighurs. The Uighurs live (for the most part) in abject poverty and slums with very little employment/sanitation etc. The Uighur population there is seen as an underclass and is almost completely segregated from 'chinese' society, racism is everyday and any attempt at politicising the regions plight is solved by sending in the army to kill or imprison protestors.

Oh, forgot to mention China's attitude to women 😯

All the while Beijing sells China as a developed country - Hmmmm...RIGHT THEN.

Another piece of evidence for the USA. Unlike the other countries mentioned the USA is supposed to be a democracy

New texas schools syllabus Which includes such gems as
The changes include teaching that the UN could be a threat to American freedom, and that the Founding Fathers may not have intended a complete separation of church and state.

Critics say the changes are ideological and distort history.

However, proponents argue they are redressing a liberal bias in education.

I think New Zealand should get a mention. High coefficient of insanity. I take my hat off to them. Inventors of Zorbing and bringers of bungie to the masses (guess the pentecost island land divers get the credit for inventing that). Can't remember meeting one i didn't like.
Never met an icelander but bjork is a good ambassador. I liked what they do for jollies with their off-road vehicles. Very mental. I saw some doco on super that - they run super low tyre pressures. When the tyre comes off the rim they splash some petrol into it, put a match to it and it blows theri eyebrows off and re-seats the tyre on the rim. Not recommended with stans.

Oi!
Nah, you're probably right. I've been living in Oz for 10 years now, & the locals here are no more sane than us.

i'd say japan, tokyo especially...

its utterly brilliant, and yet totally bonkers. i love it. it really is like landing in a different planet.
away from tokyo, its a lot more 'normal', and incredibly pleasant too...

but i bloody love tokyo.

fwiw i also love china, brilliant country. i'd love to go to N korea too...

Tajikistan was md in a differnt way. did not like it at all, had to spend 9 weeks there too... only 3 bombs in dushanbe while i was there though... 😐

No disrespect intended at all, quite the contrary 🙂 The world would be a much poorer and less colorful place without them. The same could not be said for some of the national characteristics mentioned so far
