following on from the watch thread,am thinking about saving for a g-shock (have always loved the look of them) which one would you go for (as there are quite a few of them) if it had any features on it that would be good for mtb'ing that would be a bonus.p.s would be happy to save for a good un (as would be a present for myself/haven't bought a watch for a long time 😉 thanks in advance 🙂
the mudman ones are good as the mud can't foul the buttons
+1 for Mudman. Mine is a GW 9010 and I've taken to wearing it pretty much every day 🙂

It syncs to a radio time signal so is always accurate and is solar powered so no battery shenanigans.
The only downside is the light is a weak sickly yellow colour and struggles to fully illuminate the dial but no big worry.
Had mine for 2+ years and still very happy with it.

Mudman's are possibly the only ones to have any benefits for MTBing as the buttons are sealed.
