Ive bought a Nokia 7 plus, and I need to transfer all the data from my old work phone ( a Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3). Photos, videos, contacts, whattapp data, apps - the lot.
How do I go about such a task?
(tried Samsung smartswitch - but it doesn't want to play with the Nokia)
Both Android?
Just do a transfer though before you start....
Make sure you contacts are associated with your google account
Sign up for google photo's or other service and sync to that (and vids)
Set Whatsapp to back up to cloud
Then switch on new phone, log in and let the data arrive.
Apps go to the google play web page and you can push the apps you want to your new phone by browsing what apps are on the old one.
Also keep those settings and you don't need to worry if you lose break or have your phone nicked as your content is backed up
God Im such a luddite. I never knew any of this.
