We will be in touch
I have bought 3 in the last 3 years - they all seem to be rubbish these days.
Last one was a Heymer and pumped up 2 tyres before not pumping any more. Sent back for a refund.
My last pump lasted me nearly 20 years
So I have been looking at getting one of the electric/rechargeable types - any recommendations for something that's going to last longer than 5 mins?
A Joe Blow track pump.
+1 on some kind of track pump...
I bought a double barrel footpump a few years ago for pumping up the car tyres - assumed it must be better than a track pump as "that's what it's designed for"....wrong!
It's rubbish & the track pump does the job much more effectively.
yeah we have been here before several times. Modern ones are rubbish, the track pump is the answer. Apparently old school foot pumps go for a few bob these days, renew and refurb and they are good to go. Pretty sure my old man had one in the loft somewhere, the hose had perished but it should be repairable
They are all shite, but I don't like using a track pump either, takes ages and the gauge is likely not accurate enough.
Last time I went for a battery powered inflator from Halfords. Expensive, but actually works quite well except for having a screw-on chuck which people seem to like, but I don't.
I used to use a track pump but didn't like it. I bought a double-barrel foot pump from Argos and it takes around the same amount of time as the track pump but it is easier to pump tyres with it.
